How we work through a service
Regardless of which service applies to your watch, our process follows a consistent structure. We document the piece on arrival, examine it before making any commitment, communicate what we have found, and proceed only with your understanding and agreement.
This matters because watch repair — particularly for mechanical movements — often reveals more than what first brought the piece to us. We prefer to discuss findings openly rather than proceed on assumptions about what the owner would want.
Arrival & Documentation
Watch is photographed and described. Existing wear, case condition, and any visible damage are noted before the movement is examined.
Examination & Assessment
Movement is inspected under magnification. Condition of components, lubrication state, and any wear or damage are assessed. For vintage pieces, this stage stands alone as the assessment service.
Communication & Approval
Findings and proposed service scope are shared with you. Parts required and cost are stated. Work proceeds only after your agreement.
Service & Return
Work is completed and, for overhauled movements, verified on a calibrating machine. Watch is returned with a written condition summary and rate results where applicable.
Service 01 · RM 240
Full Overhaul & Recalibration
A complete, hand-worked service for mechanical and automatic watches. The movement is opened, cleaned, inspected, and reassembled with fresh lubrication before being timed on a calibrating machine. Suited to owners who notice their watch running fast, slow, or unevenly and would like it brought back into rhythm.
Includes a condition summary, part replacement where needed, and a period of testing before return.

Service 02 · RM 290
Crown, Stem & Winding Repair
A focused repair for watches that are difficult to wind or set, or where the crown feels loose. Our watchmaker renews the stem, crown, or winding components and checks the keyless works so the piece can be adjusted smoothly again. Well suited to daily-wear watches that have simply seen a lot of use.
Includes cleaning of the affected area and a function check across all positions.

Service 03 · RM 325
Vintage Timepiece Assessment
A gentle, no-pressure assessment for older and inherited watches whose owners are unsure where to begin. We examine the movement, case, and dial, then share an honest written view of the watch's condition and the care it may benefit from.
Ideal for those wanting to understand a family piece before deciding on any work. The assessment stands on its own, and any further care is entirely your choice.

Arrival Photography
Every watch is photographed on arrival before any handling begins. This record is kept for the duration of the service.
Pre-Work Communication
Findings are shared with the owner and approval obtained before any service work proceeds. No surprises at collection.
Quality Parts
Replacement components are sourced from established suppliers. Original parts are used where available and appropriate.
Secure Custody
Watches in the workshop are stored in dedicated trays in a secured workspace. Vintage pieces are handled separately from standard service items.
Written Summary on Return
Every service concludes with a written document describing what was done, any parts replaced, and relevant notes for future maintenance.
Client Privacy
Contact details provided by clients are used only for communication about the current service. They are not shared with third parties.
