A typical full overhaul takes between two and four weeks from the date we receive your watch. Vintage and complicated movements may take a little longer. We will give you a realistic time frame when you bring the piece in, and keep you informed if anything changes.

Our speciality is mechanical and automatic movements. Some quartz pieces, particularly older Japanese and Swiss calibres, can also be assessed — please reach out and describe what you have and we can advise whether it falls within what we do.

We examine the movement, case, crown, crystal, and dial. You receive a written summary describing what we found — including anything that may benefit from attention — along with our honest view of what the care involved would be. There is no obligation to proceed with any work after the assessment.

Yes. We work with established parts suppliers and, where possible, use original or high-quality compatible components. If a specific part is required that needs time to source, we will let you know before proceeding.

Not really. We have worked on everyday mechanical watches and on more unusual vintage pieces. If the watch has a story that matters to you, it is worth discussing with us. A brief description of what you have and what you have noticed is a good starting point.

You are welcome to visit the workshop directly during opening hours, or send us a message to arrange a convenient time. Please keep a note of any original packaging if available, though it is not required. We will document the piece's condition when you arrive.
